In May 2024, I received my Master of Library and Information Science degree from San José State University’s School of Information. “San José State University’s Master of Library and Information Science program is accredited by the American Library Association Committee on Accreditation, with the status of Continued accreditation. The next comprehensive review visit is scheduled for spring 2029. The MLIS program has been continuously accredited by ALA since 1969. San José State University is institutionally accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission.
